Victor Behar
Partner
Mr. Behar brings a wealth of experience to his role as a partner in Acumen Medical, LLC. In the early 90s, he founded Managed Care Insurance Consultants (MCIC), a highly-regarded insurance risk management company that served national Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial insurers through its physician partnerships. Now acquired by NuTex, MCIC is actively supporting micro hospitals in Florida. Behar's executive management expertise encompasses financial and operational performance, healthcare delivery systems, network development, and contracting. Prior to his current position, Behar served as a healthcare executive for CAC Ramsay's Workers' Compensation Division, which was later acquired by United Healthcare. Behar holds a degree in Accounting and Finance from Florida International University, and he has completed an MBA program. Additionally, he is licensed as an All Lines insurance consultant in the State of Florida.
Geremy Connor
Partner
Geremy Connor has over 20 years of senior leadership experience in finance, accounting, business development and strategic planning. Mr. Connor has held CEO, CFO and Chief Investment Officer roles at various investment, real estate, health care and technology companies. He previously held senior roles at Attalus Capital, the Philadelphia Group and he was the Chief Investment Officer and co-founder of SharpVue Capital.
For the last four years, he served as CFO of a diagnostic laboratory company that grew revenues over 2000% under his financial leadership. Mr. Connor has an A.B. in Economics from Princeton University and an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School.

Doug McCormack
Partner
Doug McCormack has spent the past 30 years working at the intersection of health care policy, law, politics and entrepreneurship. Doug has been founder, CEO and Chairman of three venture-backed technology companies. Under his leadership, these companies secured over two dozen patents, were recognized with multiple juried awards for innovation, and partnered with Apple to feature the first medical device brought to market with patient connectivity and control via an iPhone app. In 2013 he was named by Fierce Medical Devices to the “Fierce 15” CEOs in Medical Devices. Doug exited via an asset sale to a global strategic and market leader. Prior to his entrepreneurial career, Doug spent fifteen years in law, policy and advocacy, including as a partner at a global law firm where he focused on representing a range of technology and health care interests, including medical technology companies, venture fund investments, health systems and hospitals. Doug is a graduate of the Univeristy of Southern California and the American University’s Washington College of Law, and is admitted to practice law in the Maryland and the District of Columbia.
